Accredited Employer Work Visas (AEWV) are the main employer-assisted visa type, this means that it is tied to a single employer and a specific job/role.
These visas can only be applied for upon an approved Job Check application, and the applicant has a job offer from an accredited employer.
The approved job check will include qualifications & work experience pre-requistists that the applicant must meet.
Depending on the role and its relevant ANZSCO code, you may also need to provide a recent English Language test. This is relevant for any roles that are considered to be 4 or 5 on the ANZSCO classification.
Suppose your application is based on work experience. In that case, you must provide evidence that is genuine and verifiable by a third party such as tax returns, bank statements, payslips, or super annuation statements for the relevant period of employment.
If you application is based on a qualification that you have gained overseas, this must be at least level 4 on the NZQA framework. This can be determined by having your overseas qualification officially assessed by NZQA.
